CHILD WELFARE SERVICES

This division of the Juvenile Court of Memphis & Shelby County serves all families in non-deliquency matters including abuse and neglect, custody and visitations, foster care, and child support.

The State of TN Child Support Program is designed to assist with getting your child(ren) the financial and medical support he or she deserves. 

PROTECTIVE

SERVICES

The Protective Services Department is responsible for screening all complaints alleging children to be dependent and neglected, abused, or abandoned.

The primary purpose is to protect children from unnecessary separation from parents who will give them a good home and loving care, to protect them from needless prolonged placement in foster care and the uncertainty it provides

NON-CUSTODIAL

The Office for Non-Custodial Parents is available to pro se or self-represented individuals needing assistance with understanding their rights and responsibilities under the law and guidance in the use of proper legal forms.
